Dinner with the boys. XO fish head bee hoon. We ordered lots of dishes and fish head bee hoon to serve 8 when there were only 4 of us! YUMS.
The ridiculously priced $450 crab, which was barely fleshy and didn't even taste that good..... We finally tried Hatch and while I love how the place is so chill, I personally found the food just average (the meat was good but the potatoes and toast etc, nothing fab?)...... And our favourite Crawford Lane Bak Chor Mee which we visit at least every other week.
Weekday Drinks... Holland V again, I feel like I live there.. I'm there like 4-5 times a week?

The boy cooks me supper in the middle of the night. So far I've had risotto, paprika sea bass, thai salad etc... and all from scratch! :)
And more chill out/beer/shisha sessions... You may be able to see a trend in how I spend my nights?

Would have been a perfect match for the killers concert, too bad it got cancelled ): Oh, and my entry/album is named after my bracelet, which I know doesn't look that nice but it's really pretty, I just have rubbish camera skills. We had it engraved last week with a "k" on the back panel, and "La Bella Vita" on the front.
Whenever I meet anyone, they always ask me "so what have you been up to" and my answer is always the same.... it's a resounding "ummmmm". Can barely believe I've only been back a month+ cos it feels like so much has been going on, even though really, I'm not doing anything remotely productive. Singapore for me always = family, the boy, the pals, food, food, drinks, shopping, TV, food, drinks, food...
Oh right, went to see Yeye today and I cried (it's been 3 years but still miss him.. no not howling weeps, but just a little bit).. and then we had lunch at my favourite Nanbantei (I always eat too much) before going for a shampoo/blow dry and a foot massage..
BIG NEWS: my little brother can drive, not officially, he doesn't have a license, but as I sat in the car he was driving today it struck me how everyone's predictions came true... MY LITTLE BROTHER ENDED UP DRIVING BEFORE ME. I STILL CAN'T MOVE THE CAR 2 inches without jam braking and screaming. EPIC FML ):
Now I'm waiting for the boy to come home from soccer so that we can have supper and watch Neil Patrick Harris guest-judge on American Idol. I absolutely love him & How I Met Your Mother.......

personal opinion? awesomest table in members.
super funny angmoh guy on the next table whom diyan stole shots from just for fun lol lol, he turned out to be quite nice and let me have lightsticks off his wrist cos the boys told him i wanted some.

twas supposed to be potluck but everyone ended up just coming over to cook or not bringing anything at all hahahahaha
see the way we do it is, the girls watch and the guys cook. i like, very much :)
bong's mini beef burgers (inspired by the time we ate at applebee's in new york!) and daren's super yummy salted egg yolk prawns which on first look no one wanted to try, but turned out amazing and had everyone fighting over :)
we cooked jiao zhi, bee hoon, chicken wings, salted egg yolk prawns, mini beff burger and potato salad. can't remember what else right now.

followed by countless rounds of "imaginiff" which is really alot of fun if you're playing with good friends or people you know well :) and then we played hide & seek at like 4am, switched off ALL the lights in my house... at first we just played regular hide and seek, and then the subsequent rounds got super competitive.. we broke up into teams and then even later we came up with strategies to complicate the game.. like hide and seek intergrated with freeze and milk etc etc etc insanity. the boys so had an advantage cos they were willing to go out into the gardens past the trees and stuff .. leon got that grass stain on his butt from hiding out there. but the girls kept telling ourselves "no lah don't think they'll hide there".. we played hide and seek till like 6am! insanity! but so much fun :)
